We are looking for a nice place to have the crop.....we are so close!

I met this wonderful girl yesterday, her name is Karyn....she does the huge scrapbook yardsale...which is going to be in October....should be AWESOME!!!! for sure.

April and I have been burning up the phone lines deciding classes, website launching, lunch, make and takes, prizes....oh my goodness!!!!! This crop is going to rock!!!!!Challenges, vendors, contests, altered art, atc's, stamping, and TONS of learning....not mass producing a single page or album....you will be learning techniques that you can apply to your pages, journals, and altered art....this is no lie!!!! it is going to be nothing short of FABULOUS!!!It is going to be so much fun!!!!! I can't wait!

I have been working on stuff this evening for classes and for our welcome pack....oh my goodness!!!!!! I am so excited....I can't let the cat out of the bag, cause I don't want anyone taking our ideas!!!! This is going to be non stop scrapbooking and creating!!!

We are going to launch our website really soon, as soon as I can get the hotel stuff finalized....that has been the hardest part.

This is it!

We have decided to bite the bullet...now.. we are still working out the details.....but we are going to START OUR OWN BUSINESS!!!!!

Let me introduce us...we are Jen Ashby and April Clausing...Hippy Chicks Scrapbooking Events....we are trying to decide if it is llc or not...

Let me tell you a little about Hippy Chicks Scrapbooking....it is the brainchild of two best friends who love LOVE love to, (what else?) scrapbook! well, Jen is also into ATc's. Altered Art. cardmaking. stamping, and everything else that can be imagined.....soon April will be addicted as well! We have been to several crops in the past, and have left feeling somewhat.....like we missed something....

well, here is our idea....we are going to host a crop with prizes, challenges, friends, fun, use of tons of tools.....and classes...no extra charge....along with make n takes, breakfast and lunch...(dinner will be on your own, for a get up and stretch time)....did I mention prizes? no rinky dink prizes at this crop....oh yeah, and drinks and snacks will be provided too!

The Crop will start on a Friday and will end on a Sunday....sometime in October or November...The first one will be in Richmond Va and the next one will be in Ashland Ky or around Portsmouth Oh. We are hoping to accomidate 100 people, maybe more, right now we are planning for 100.

We are hoping to have a no hidden costs crop...there will be vendors on site, so you will know what money you have up front.
